We purchased this home in May of 2005. Our intentions were to find a home with a mountain feel to it. We wanted a place that when we walked inside, we still felt like we were in the mountains. This was the first home that we looked at. Either God was smiling down on us that day or we just had a really good realtor. We had found our house. The Bear Den was exactly what we were looking for. A place that was away from it all....but yet still so close to all of the fun. I must admit that I was also drawn to the house by all of the cute bear decorations that surround it.

There are so many reasons why we decided on purchasing this house. But the main one was to have a place where we can take our children to and build memories. Memories that our family can cherish for years to come. The last time that I was there, I was doing the dishes (ha, ha) and I looked up out the window just as a deer was running through the backyard. How awesome is that? I grabbed my daughter and niece and we ran to the side deck for them to see it. It's not everyday that I can say a deer ran through my backyard.
