From the NE extension to Smith Road:

Go through the tunnel, take the first exit, Rt. 209 to Lehighton. Take Rt. 209 South into Jim Thorpe PA. Go past train station, bear right at light, road turns left and you begin to leave town (post office on the left). About 200 yards from light is Rt. 903, take the right going over the bridge. Road bears left and then makes a sharp right, stay on Rt. 903 and go 3 miles through the other side of town. As you leave town you will notice the Jim Thorpe memorial on your right. Go up the mountain about 5 miles and then road levels off. On your right you will notice a saloon/restaurant TB 903’s. From that spot you travel 4 miles up Rt. 903 until you make a left at Smith Road. Just before Smith Rd. you will see a gas station on the left, a sub shop Matson’s (sign on bldg. says Toni’s) and Alpine Bakery, all on the left. After the bakery you travel < ½ mile, Smith Rd. is on the left and the corner has an auction house and auto garage.

From the North, off I-80 to Smith Road:

From Rt. 80 you take the Blakeley exit onto Rt. 115 traveling east and make a right on Rt. 903 south. Take this road approximately 12 miles. You will pass Big Boulder/Split Rock lodge and Lake Harmony on your right, about 1 miles on to the road. Proceed another 7 miles and you will pass over RT. 476 the NE extension. You will continue for about 2 miles making the right onto Smith Rd. The road has two rights, the 1^st is an extreme right that enters you into Penn Forest Township Landfill, the lazy right is Smith Road. From there please refer to the above directions - Getting to the house:

Getting to the house, from Smith road to 38 Algonkin Dr. Pleasant Valley West:

After you make left, go .8 miles to first stop sign, make a right. Travel 1 mile to entrance of Pleasant Valley West and make a right. The road is winds and you will come upon an extreme sharp left, ½ way through this turn you make a very sharp right. You will see a log cabin, that is the entrance to PVW, make the hard right. Pass the first two available rights, 1^st is entrance to lake and playground, 2^nd is Delaware Ave. (other side of the lake) and proceed to Susquehana Dr. and turn right. Follow Susquehana all the way till it dead ends at a T. You will go through 4 stop signs. Take a left on Algonkin Drive, my house is ½ mile on the left, the third house on the left (until someone builds?) and is clearly marked, tan with green shutters, garage and I have a neighbor almost directly across from my drive.
